I really like the window, ceiling and shutters. It is very nice if you like coastal decor, but since I'm not a fan, I would have to strip the room and start over.

Everything about this room is totally boring. The colors are the biggest snooze. I've never seen a room designed with such symmetry or mathematical precision. I'd just like to insert myself and scatter something just to make it more interesting.

@jubilant I do like some coastal decor, but in this picture, I would get rid of the drapes, the rug, and the heavy wood furniture. To me, the room needs to be much more open and brighter.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

Do not care for this room, but I do like the Shutters and the starfish Lamps, that's about it. When I think Coastal, I am thinking open, and airy and light, this room is almost stifling to me!

I love coastal decor so I find it pretty. I would get rid of the curtains and just have the shutter type blinds. I would also get rid of one of the chairs and one end table to spread things out a bit.

I'm not a fan of matchie matchie so this room is a big turn off. It needs interest and there is none IMO.

I love that sailboat!

and the windows but this is kind of showroom coastal.
