I wouldn't say it matters all that much, but there are colors I simply don't like and wouldn't buy unless they were the only colors offered and I desperately needed the item. Orange is one of those colors.
I do like the idea of having different colors for different purposes though.

I do not care about color in cleaning products. I do not display them but use the items to clean. However, if there are those who do want a certain color, that is their choice. For me, I do not care.

I like my gadgets to be bright colored. My pastry brushes are yellow silicone, my can opener is lime. Much easier to find in cluttered drawers.

I don't care but maybe a color would make you use it more often.

Color choices can come in handy if you're buying more than one set of something for different locations in your house. However, decorative colors wouldn't inspire me to buy something.

It's not a real biggie, but honestly, the older I get, the less I want loud and bright colors in my home (even if no one else is seeing them), and the more I like when EVERYTHING coordinates or matches.
So if there is a choice of a nice neutral tan/brown/ivory, that is going to be my pick.

If I have a choice, then yes I'll pick a color that I like or goes with colors in my house; however, if they're sold out of my color pick, but have other colors available, I'll just get whatever color they have.

It matters some.
I hate cleaning and anything I can do to make it less awful, like use a cloth in a color that makes me happy, helps me get it over with.
But it doesn't matter enough to me that I'd pay a considerable amount more for a cleaning cloth in my favorite color vs a generic color. (For example, Amazon loves to sell the exact same item in 8 different colors and charge more for some colors than others. I'm not going to pay $2.00 more for a turquoise cloth than a brown one.)

its kind of like my underwear, no one sees it but me but I would rather have a color, no white for me....☼☼☼

I live in an apt. and do not have much counter space. I think an idiot designed the kitchen. The small appliances I have are in stainless steel. I don't use microfiber dust towels. I use a feather duster for lamp shades and microfiber tall duster and small duster in gray & white. The tall one is for a fan in the dining area and the small duster for furniture and my iron bed.
