It's a very nice outdoor space, but given I don't like heights, I'd probably never use it... I'd rather have a brownstone than a penthouse...

The setting looks beautiful.

 

For me, NOPE.  Can't stand the thought of huge city living, being surrounded by building after building & the sounds of traffice, etc.   Nah, I'll pass.  When walking, there's the pushing/shoving with people racing to their destination.  That was my first experience in NYC & Beantown (on a smaller scale.)

I wouldn't want to live at a penthouse but the roof garden is lovely and an escape.  

 

When I was younger I wanted to live at the Village in Manhattan.  Of course I had no idea the cost but when young you have dreams.  I prefer brownstones with courtyards in the back.

I love city roof top gardens.  If you remember the movie Green Card, Andie MacDowell's character had a gorgeous indoor/outdoor space in the city.
