looks like someone did a good job of repurposing some extra wood slats.  would looks better with a nice hallway runner rug on top.

I like the chevron pattern in parquet floors, but I don't care for it in this multi-color application.

Very creative!  Love the blue!  Those colors could easily be pulled to make an outfit!  I'd love to have something that hue!Smiley Happy

 

I'd paint the ceiling a light color though.
