mallemo, I know I'm still hoping the lantern request becomes a reality. Maybe this Fall if we're lucky?

whitelinen, I really hope Valerie can make the draping candle rings happen. Set of 3 would be great. I was searching google images earlier and did find a few candle rings that might pass for "draping" if they were to be placed atop a tall pedestal, but they were intended to sit flat on a table. Also, many of them are made for larger diameter candles, like 6" or so.

What type of red lantern do you all want from VPH? And how do you want to use it? I'm asking because I got a set of two red lanterns from the T Village site. They're good sized, not expensive and very nice. I actually have sets in red, orange, black and silver. They are not to be used with real candles but depending on the season I fill mine with eggs, ornaments, etc. Or a battery candle. I think the smallest sphere fits in the biggest lantern in the set. I just took pics of the ones I have out right now. I'll try to post them.

Somewhere on here there is a photo of the red lantern that VPH has used for her set displays. It's red wood with a dark metal top. The glass is arched at the top. We have all been wanting it for so long. Valerie said she purchased it at a local garden shop and would try and bring one like it to QVC. So far, no luck.

Sounds lovely. I don't remember seeing it. My lanterns are all metal and glass. I will post pics but they don't sound like the kind you all are wanting.

Here are the promised lantern pics. I know these aren't the ones you all are wanting from Valerie but I do love these sets. I don't have any of my red ones out this season, just the black and silver.

This is one of the smaller lanterns in the set and it's filled with Valerie's (and other) eggs and bits of burlap.

This is one of the larger lanterns. I put one of VPH mercury glass fat candles inside along with spring silk flowers. I love the way it looks at night with the glowing candle inside.

This is another of the bigger lanterns in the set. It's filled with silk spring flowers, a strand of lights and have a VPH mercury glass bird clipped on the top.

Nana5...Thanks for sharing your lantern photos. They are lovely and you styled them both so nicely. One of the ways that VPH had used the red lantern in question was to put one of her flickering tip glitter candles inside and it looked so awesome with the arched glass framing it.

The red lantern...below. I also saved pics of another red wooden lantern that was used on the set, but it does not have the arch detail.

Marsha2003, I absolutely love what you've done with your candleholders, including the use of these candle rings.

I have the set of 5 Cain candleholders.

As much as I love the colors and quality of these, I have ended up storing the tallest two for now. I would use them grouped with other shorter items, but after a while I just thought they look too tall and out of place.

Now that I've seen these draping candle rings, I know that I need a set! They are what the taller holders need, in my opinion. So, Rosehill, I agree with you. I would opt for the all-green set, so that I could use them longer during the year, but I would also be open to a seasonal A/D set if Valerie brought us one. That's a great idea, whitelinen.

SHOPR, the Cain candeholders are wonderful, really like the way they are shaped. Think they would look fabulous with draping floral rings.

Yes, my experience too. It seems pretty remarkable that they are so hard to find.

Another thing for us to hunt down!!

I think draping candle rings must be a very new trend. I checked on ebay and found nothing. I googled and found very few pics. The best two pics were on a wedding site. Maybe we can each design some draping rings and share with each other.
