I chimed in on VPH's FB page about the candle rings and how it would be great if she would try and do some. Would it be inappropriate to post a photo from GRoad so she could see what everyone is talking about?

I almost did that mallemo! But i decided it might not be wise to mention another vendor on her site. Hopefully she is aware of the competition and what they are offering. It will be interesting to see if she responds to our posts.

Thanks for letting us know. I hope you are right. Valerie said the same thing though about the red lantern and we have yet to see that. Fingers crossed!

Oh yes i remember the red lantern. Who knows what she has to deal with when it comes to her offerings. She may have less oversight than we think. In the meantime please let us know if you come across any in your sleuthing!

Will do! HSN has Grandin Road items but they show sold out there as well.

mallemo, I know I'm still hoping the lantern request becomes a reality. Maybe this Fall if we're lucky?

whitelinen, I really hope Valerie can make the draping candle rings happen. Set of 3 would be great. I was searching google images earlier and did find a few candle rings that might pass for "draping" if they were to be placed atop a tall pedestal, but they were intended to sit flat on a table. Also, many of them are made for larger diameter candles, like 6" or so.
