Ha, @ECBG ,  we're on the same wavelength!   I saw that cottage a few days ago.  That couple, who are German, but live in England, seem to like to rent teeny tiny English cottages every year for their vacation.  A while back, they showed another one that they had stayed in, also impossibly cute.

 

This one is so darling-- it's so small, it's like a dollhouse, but a very complete and satisfying dollhouse (at least, as a getaway).  That couple seem quite quirky, and as sweet as can be.

 

Hoping that you and hubby are able to just relax and take it easy now, after your quite harrowing last few days....

I like that cottage, but I would have only considered that size in much younger days!

 

Also, I didn't like the gray on the walls; it is untrue to the period.
