Re: ~~ Calling Luminara Candle Owners ~~

I have the Heritage Luminara Lanterns in 3 sizes. I used the Energizer AA batteries and they have leaked and ruined my candles in one of my lanterns. Now I hear someone say they used the Duracell and they leaked. What batteries should I use? The candles are expensive and I have a hard time finding the pillar candles for the lanterns.

@pking86  Hello! Welcome to the Forums! Just to let you know, this post is from 2015. Instead of bumping up an old thread, you might want to begin a new one. I'm always game to talk about Luminara and all kinds of home decor, as well as what batteries to use. (I use Duracell) Hope this helps.

@pking86   This might be a dumb question but did you leave the batteries in after they no longer worked?

Re: ~~ Calling Luminara Candle Owners ~~

I have quite a few Luminara candles.  They are on auto and go on very night.

I always purchase only Duracell batteries from Costco or Sam’s and they last quite a while.  I probably change the batteries twice a year. ( I don't use the candles much in the summer months...not home)

I have tapers on my DR table.  I know those batteries are still working and it's been over a year since they were replaced.

Re: ~~ Calling Luminara Candle Owners ~~

@pattypeep  We buy re-chargable batteries and put them in the charger to re-charge. We have an Energizer charger that can be used for all sizes of batteries.

It saves us from having to keep buying batteries.
