Hey, thank you, kind @Babyfran !

@DREAMON ,  I'm glad to hear you say you like the Fords-- me too.   Her work is truly a breath of fresh air!

Some nice elements in many of the cottages you featured, @Oznell .

This depiction of a cozy cottage has kitties:

@Oznell , as I recall you like literary tidbits; here's one that has to do with one of the names in the above photo you had posted.  Had read that, according to an art historian, Sibyl Colefax was the inspiration for a character in an Evelyn Waugh book and for a character in an Aldous Huxley book.

Yay, @QVCisFun --  you found lounging cottage kitties, luxuriously arrayed before the fire--  perfect!

Oh, yeah, not surprised, Sibyl Colefax was a major figure in design, and, along with John Fowler, pretty much 'owned' traditional design in England.

Great detective work as usual, @QVCisFun !

I like most of these spaces.

I like the warmth and colors in the rooms.
My favorites are A, F, H, and J.

The second room is a bit too neutral and rustic for me.

I don't care for the distressed table and chair in Photo I.
I love the last photo with the dog!

@wilma ,  I don't think I've seen you for awhile?   Lovely to see a post from you again!

@Oznell I liked several of those rooms but the last photo of the table with the spool legs really spoke to me. I have several tables with spooled legs and a couple of tilt top tables that my mom bought at local antique shops. I use them as end tables for my couch -- the cats use them as routes from one blanket to another so I have them covered with throw towels in various colors to match the season to protect the finish from kitty claws.  Not elegant perhaps but it works in our house.

@Oznell

Thanks. I took a few weeks off.
Now I'm having trouble logging in to the forums. Some days it works and other days it doesn't. 🤔

@GinaV24 ,  you are wise to protect your precious spool tables from marauding kitty claws!  Our three also like to happily scratch the rug, on and off, oof.

Envy you your tables!  I have one spool bed, that's all,  but love all things spool!   And barley twist, too.
