Re: CIJ Purchases and Feedback

I just picked up 2 more Santa and 2 more Snowman Kringle Express Bells.  The Santa ones had been showing as sold out, but I was able to order them.  When I picked up my first 2, I had intentions of displaying them on ornament hangers, but now that I have 6, I may put them on my tree.

Re: CIJ Purchases and Feedback

I bought the Santa to use as a topper on my white flocked tree.

Years ago, during a sale of at least 50% off after Christmas at HSN, I bought many porcelain dome shaped votive candle holders, which sit on saucers, and the scenes were of Santa and his sleigh and reindeer, a snowman scene, and an multi Angel scene of flying Angels..  The bells are very much like these, and the scenes, if not identical, are very similar, which is why I didn't buy more of the bells.

Last year, I put morphing flameless votives in them and they were fantastic, but of course, white votives look wonderful also.  The domes came in tall and short, I have both, of course. Smiley Happy

I was waithing on the reviews for Valerie's Gingerbread houses H205289 because I had my eye on the nutcracker one since I've not ever seen one like that before.  So today I saw the great reviews and placed my order for the nutcracker one! Smiley Happy

My favorite CIJpurchase so far is hands down the ivory illuminated mosaic angel. I bought her from the As Is section, but she works fine. Just has a little piece of rubber sticking out from one wing but you can't tell unless you look close. I didn't think I'd like it, but I've completely fallen in love with her!

Remember last year when the acrylic finials sold out really quickly, so she ended up bringing back tons of them this year?  I think that's what is going to happen with these for next year.  Just like this year is all about finials,  I think next year will be all about kissing balls!

Peter, do you think the finial craze is over?  I have no more room for finials so I hope your guess is correct.  I have lots of room to hang things with vaulted ceilings so I could start with kissing balls.  Woman LOL

I don't think the finials will go away completely, but based on the reviews from folks on here, I think we'll see a lot of people lining up for kissing balls next year.

My third and final set of the Silver Swirl Finials arrived today, and it looks like they are all in good shape.  I'll be able to make two good sets out of the three that I received, since one of the large ones in one of the sets was defective.  They're starting to grow on me, so I think I'll keep them but only for display at the holidays.

The other purchased I received today is unbelieveable. I received one of two Kringle Express Porcelain Ornaments, H205841 (got the snowman, waiting on the santa), and I literally GASPED when I put the batteries in.  The color is so beautiful and elegant, and the detail is just breathtaking.  Next to Lisa Robertson's Sequinned and Glitterred trees in white (H203513), this is hands down, the most beautiful purchase I've ever made from QVC.  You know how when they advertise the flocked white trees with white lights, and you can't actually see some of the light bulbs on the tree, but there is that ethereal glow coming from within?  That's the look of this bell.  If I could afford it, I'd buy a dozen more of these and put them all over my white Christmas tree.  I'm definitely picking up a couple more.

Hi Peter: So glad you are happy with your bells. I passed on them as I wasn't sure what I could do with them, but will take another look. I think everyone who got them was more than pleased.  Enjoy!
