Each of them so beautiful, @QVCisFun ! Thanks for digging them up. The vintage patterns are so nostalgic and closest to my heart...

I'm a crazy person who used to have so many different Christmas china patterns because I loved setting different tables for several dinner parties that I would serve throughout the holiday season. I recently downsized and sold most of my tableware and entertaining pieces as I am entering a different time of life in a much smaller house.
For your amusement, here is a picture of some the patterns I used to have. Do understand that for most of them, I only had dinner plates, salad plates and/or bread/butter plates, not full sets.

How fabulous, @Marsha2003 -- love the sophisticated combination of the tartan designs and the array of lovely seaonal berry /holly patterns, all in compatible, "mixable" red and green. What great combos you must have been able to put together for your dinners!

I purchased this Nikko set in the 80s, along with several matching pieces.

@just bee , ooh, I'm really partial to "Christmas tree" motifs, and that is an outstanding. The banded dark green against the white, sharp! And the octagonal shape gives it that extra distinction. I don't think I've seen this one before, but love it!
Hoping you have Christmas off this year. And can laze around with food, BH, and WGD canine excellence. But if working, you probably just feast on another day...

Me, too! I found myself attracted to the tree designs when I was browsing Christmas cards this year.
I worked Thanksgiving, but have Christmas and New Year's off because they fall, this year, on my normal days off.
Can't wait to see WGD's face while BH is preparing the holiday feast.![]()

@Oznell This is Christmas china that I bought my mother several years ago in Germany when I was in high school. I visited my sister and her husband who was stationed in Germany. We were staying at a hotel in Bavaria and saw these beautiful dishes in a gift store. When my mother passed away I inherited them. We use them every Christmas.

Since I got married, I had every holiday at my house. Both sides of the family had their holiday meals at my house.
I liked the pattern - Holiday Tartan. It wasn't cheap, so I would travel 100 miles every year to buy more pieces.
It took years to get a service for 12 and all the serving pieces. Because not every piece was availble when I went.
Well, finally got all the place settings, serving pieces and tablecloth, napkins etc. And guess what my brothers are now divorced, so their families don't come and stay for the holiday and both sets of parents have died. So I have all the pieces for 12 people and no longer need them. Most pieces are still wrapped from when I bought them.

@drizzellla that china pattern is beautiful! If I could, I would buy it from you, lol. I hope someone in your family appreciates them and you could pass them down someday. And to have all the serving pieces too is amazing. I don't have any serving pieces to go with my Christmas china.

My first pics were a little small; let me try again (I'm not the best at posting pictures, lol)
