I like it.

 

Sort of the reverse of mine .....  white walls and black furniture and curtains ... and a fire-engine-red area rug.  White hassocks.

This would not be my style, but I do think it is striking, and the contrast is beautiful.

I wouldn't have thought so but its very calming.

And attractive and intriguing!

It definitely draws you in.

This room is one I like but would make slight changes to.  I would change the chair on the left. It looks uncomfortable and not an easy chair to get in and out of, and also that corded hanging light. Doing so would change the appearance of the room to one I would like better.

I would feel like I was being put in solitary in a dark room and punished for something!  Dreary, cold and spooky feeling
