First one. It's more neutral.

I like #1 for the peaceful quality. Didn't care for #2 the print is too bold.

If you want a similar look to #1, St. Regis offers this look with matching sheets

@lolakimono

I don't care for either of them.  But having to choose one, I take Pic #1.

The bedding is not as "in you face bold" as Pic #2.

Having said that, I just don't care for the room - wallpaper pattern, rug & ceiling light fixture.

Thank you for posting these pics for discussion.  Hope you have a safe & wonderful 4th.

@lolakimono  If I had to pick, which thankfully, I do not, then it would be #1.  To me, both are very boring rooms.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

I prefer #1. I would like to add a couple of printed pillows though - maybe the same print on the bedding in #2.

I would go with no. 1 except that picture handing berhind the bed does nothing for a bedroom.  It does not fit in.  I chose no. 1 because it is more peaceful.  No. 2 the print on the bed cover is too bold and busy and competing with the rug.

The first room is too blah, at least the second room has provided color with the quilt.  However, neither room is appealing and both need to be perked up starting with colors!
