There is a couple who is in conflict about a bedding decision.

Your only decision is based on the bedding- which one complements the room and why?

(No, this is not my house, just something that I found for discussion).

I like the first one better.  I don't like bold patterns in a bedroom.

Though the second one is pretty, it's not my taste.  The first photo just seems so much more peaceful and restful to me.

Well, at first glance, I would say pic 1 compliments the room better, as the bedding is solid and there is so much print going on in the room, but the 2nd pic looks nice as well even with the busy print, it just somehow works..so as usual I'm non-committal 😜

I like the first picture.  It just looks more comfy to me.

I am partial to the first one because it's more spa-like.

I don't care for the second one at all, but it's probably more practical if you have animals who may steal a chance at a nap on the bed.

Provides great warmth and visual interest, is an anchor to the decor as the first one floats off into space.  It is the focal point, beautiful.

Definitely number one.  A down comforter with a duvet cover is light, flexible and practical.  Want more color, change the cover.

The patterned cover is dark and makes the room look smaller.
