My Mom always had the set of bathroom rugs. The one that fits around the toilet, plus a toilet seat and tank cover.
I do not use any of those myself except a rug in front of the sink. The rug in front of the toilet is not the kind that fits around. I notice some people do still use these.
Do you use the sets? They still sell these sets in the stores!

NO. We haven't in at least 25 years. We never have used the toilet seat cover, and in one house the one for around the toilet didn't fit and in our little college apartment that's ALL that would fit there! LOL!!!

Yes I do use non skid rugs in the bathroom but not the one that fits around the toilet---that concept grosses me out--had only one boy child and a hubs and never had those then, but can you imagine a house full of boys and keeping that thing clean---gross!!!

I don't use any kind of rugs in my house. They are an accident waiting to happen. When I became disabled I had a home-environment-safety specialist come to my house and evaluate any issues that needed attention and one of them was to get rid of all the area rugs, especially the ones in the bathroom where falls have been most commonly seen. They told me if a slippery floor is problem in the bathroom then friction tape is an option, not rugs.

Never did much like that style, and now that every day my balance reminds me I'm getting closer and closer to "old" no way do I want small rugs where I walk.

I use the one around the toilet because I hate my bare feet on a bare floor. I have a rug in front of our sinks and one to step out of the shower. I wash them often.

They still sell all of those types of bathroom rugs.
I don't have any rugs in my powder rooms. I use a very large rug in my master bath that covers the path from the tub to the sink. My other two baths have a rug folded and made available for use if needed..no one usually uses those bathrooms unless we have overnight guests or grand kids staying over.
I do laundry for an elderly lady. She uses those rugs around the toilet and a toilet seat cover as well as a bath rug. They are used for safety reasons. She uses a walker 100% of the time and her bathroom floor is shiny and slippery...wet or dry. She has limited use of her hands as well.

Yes - Yes - Yes = 3 One of which is a long fluffy in front of my double (2) sinks. Cozy on the toes!

I use a rug that's larger than part of the set ones. I don't do the sets. I do use a hand towel on the top of the tank. I can change the color weekly. (laundry).
