I like the design and would use it in the right house.  I'd use lighter colors though.  The room in general is too dark for me.

However, I detest TV's over the fireplace.  Not a fan of the furnishings either.

I don't care for the basket weave texture around the fireplace or on the wall. I'd prefer brick or stone. I like the architecture of the space and the wall colors, but not the furnishings.

I like the fireplace, but would replace the furniture!

I don't care for the color palette of this room, including the bricks on the fireplace.  I love the bones of the room, the wall and trim colors, the window treatments, but I can't get past the furniture colors and the lower half of the fireplace wall.

Not my cup of tea, in fact, I do not care for the way the room is decorated as a whole.
