This would look really nice if I had a maid. That will never happen. My husband is helping me clean this year and I am weeding out. My new motto is less is more.

I very much like the pottery and the mural on the wall.  It is a lovely look.  The decanters are also an interesting grouping and I like the different heights.   I like a mixture of big and small and enjoy putting them together.

What a great, decorative idea for housing your knitting needles, @ALRATIBA --  I really like the ingenious ways people find to make pretty objects useful as well...

And I hope I'm not misremembering, @spiderw ,  but isn't it you who has that very handsome, oversize iridescent glass vase from Peony.   I wavered on that one, but it's a great example of a large piece that delivers huge impact.  I ended up not getting it, but love it and think it is a perfect example of what I'm talking about...

You remember well, Oznell!  I did buy that vase and in fact have it in my dining room with faux peonies in it which I bought from Pier One !!!!  It looks lovely and catches your eye when you walk in the room!  You pointed out that vase to me in your post and I thank you.

Your description of the vase is on the mark and it is a large piece which makes an impact.  I do not send pictures because I am clueless when it comes to that.  However, I will see if my husband can help me, no guarantees though, ha ha.

LOVE this look.  I am a "big decor" person.
