I like the asymmetry, but the gold? tile has to go! and I have to see the rest of the room, but the pink/orange chair  is the wrong tone.

I don't mind the fireplace, but I don't like the tile at all.

I like the shape of the fireplace because it matches the ceiling.  However, I don't like the tile or the colors of the furniture.

OK, that is just awful.

(But then again, so is that chair color.)

 

A fireplace like this would look nice in a flat stone - either real or faux.
