I constantly see ads on tv for these things and they look soooo comfortable.  Its like a shapped beanbag filled with something super soft.  Its said to be the ultimate relaxation device.  I just wonder how hard they are to get out of?

It looks very comfortable, is the only way to sit looking at the ceiling?  

That would be hard for me to get out of with my sciatic nerve issue.

@ECBG    I have a feeling they may not be the wisest seating choice for Seniors.  Like a beanbag you can squish them around and reshape them.  They make some which are almost a bed but very expensive.

If I wanted to commit suicide, I wouldn't need poison--  that "chair" would imprison me and I would die of either starvation or lack of hydration.

I gave my granddaughter a Moonpod for Christmas.  She kept saying she didn't want anything, but I told her she was going to get something any way!!  When I saw the ads for the Moonpod, I hoped she could get some good use out of it, but I also had read some poor reviews of it.  I did manage to get a pretty good price for it, but even so it was in my opinion quite expensive.  

I was nervous about what she would think of it.  But she was actually quite happy with it and said it is very comfy and useful. She used it to watch TV and play video games.  She is 26 and very agile so getting in and out and up is easy for her.  If I personally sat in it, I would be there until someone or something pulled me out of it.  For the young, it seems to be a fun addition.
