We saw a coffee table similar to this at an arts and craft show.  I thought at the time it would be a nice addition to a log home living or family room.  It was rather pricey but was a one-of-a kind piece of art.

@AnikaBrodie  I have a coffee table very similar to that.  My parents bought it from an artist in New Hope, PA. and it's signed.  It's a solid slab of walnut and is roughly rectangular with a rotten spot in it.  The legs are slabs set at angles.  My present puppy gnawed the edge of it when she was still chewing so I'm going to have to attempt some artful repairs.

Well, it certainly is different! Definitely a conversation piece. In the right setting I think it would be fun.
