Shopping on Amazon is so dangerous lol i dont do it alot, but i just spent almost 160.00 got 4 nice things. I need to work 24/7 so i dont go shopping.. I dont want to look around in here, maybe next month lol Amazon has great prices & there shipping is fast...

I love Amazon. Anything I've ever needed........even an obscure replacement battery.....I can always find it there, and there are usually several vendors to choose from. I like only giving my CC to one place, too. Like you, I hardly ever go to the store anymore, except for food.

Yes, but when I go to my grocery store I get the salad bar.......bet Amazon can't make that for me!

I'm not as excited about Amazon as other are. I have made purchases, but have had more than my share of problems with not getting my shipments, not getting my refunds for months after not getting my shipments, not getting the right things when I do get my shipment.

I don't like having to pay close attention to whether my item is fulfilled by Amazon or an outside vendor (and those are the ones I've had trouble with getting the right thing, and then trying to contact them to get the correct items).

I don't like the lack of pictures/videos of the product. Many items have one or two not very good photos. Poor descriptions, lacking all the measurements etc.

I do like the reviews. Lots of them, pictures with many, and the ability of people to come back and update. The reviews are really my favorite part of Amazon.

And I must be one of the few folks on the planet who does not have an account at Amazon all because you cannot purchase over the phone nor do they accept personal checks or money orders.

Absolutely. I am in awe of how they offer so many products.

And I'm sorry but I just don't think it takes anyone months and months to get a refund - nope. Amaozn has the A - Z Guarantee, you can file a claim right away and get a refund very quickly. I've had to do that once, with a third party vendor. Amazon made it right asap.

Well think again. It took me several months, when they shipped a package to the wrong state, to get my refund. I had to make three calls, and each time they acted like they had never heard from me.

Another time, the vendor sent the wrong color of an item, and I had to contact them repeatedly to try and get the right color. It took them about two months to respond, and in the meantime it was a gift so I simply gave it to the recipient as they were unaware that I had chosen another color for them. They were happy with it in the color I received, so I never did get an exchange, but two months to get back to somone, with repeated requests isn't my idea of good service or something to be excited about.

So don't pretend you have had my experience, because you haven't-nope.
