It looks like a nice sunny room, but I don't like the colors or the furniture.  The fireplace is nice except for the andirons.  Yes, the orange sticks out like a sore thumb!  I would strip the whole room and start over!

I agree with you...why draw attention to the corner ---with the orange paint and also that black paint surrounding the door....I'd make that nice fireplace the focal point.....

These colors are a little bright for me but, in a way, I find it refreshing in this particular room.  The only things I would change (if it were mine) are the lamps and the green chair. Oh, the antlers would have to go, too!
