This is a retirement gift for our neighbor.  I think it's one of DD's best creations.

The 2nd pic is solid but you can see quilting detail.

Thanks to all of you ladies for the nice comments.  It is even prettier in person.  It just amazes me that she, and all quilters, can figure out the pattern, decide on fabric etc.

She got it back Staurday from  the lady with the long arm quilting machine and trimmed it, did the binding and spend a few hours hand sewing the binding on.

Next is washing where it will pucker and then boxed and delivered.

The woman has talent.  Not from me that's for sure plus I don't have the patience for it.
