In reference to the 1st photo. After looking at the other photos, they are just too cluttered. They are trying to cram too many things into one room and it looks too mish mash to me...Also too many different patterns together as well.......

I like the sofa and matching chair minus the throw pillows that were selected. That  is it.

I think it needs more blue.  Some pillows on the sofa/chairs that have some of the blue in them.

I agree that the lamps are too small.

And while the wall color works, I'm not a fan.  I'm not sure what else I'd have on the walls though.   Mabye just a differnt tone of that color.

And, while i like the blue tiles I think one more horizontal row of them is needed.   A rectangle instead of a square.

First, I would paint the wall at least one shade lighter, I like the color, but just not as deep.

I would then use more of a beige for the upholstery instead of that off white - do not like whites for any upholstery, I just do find it practical at all. Also, I am seeing a new choice of pillows is needed also...

I would of gone with some sort of pottery or iron kind of table lamps -something with more character and size.

Also,  that trunk looks out of place to me - I am seeing a fabulous table with heavy turned legs. 

Oh, and I would so use a large framed piece of artwork that picks up the colors in the rug.
