Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you about the Holiday dishes at Wmrt. You may already have the answer by now, but the trays are plain white on the back..no design. The larger store I went to last week didn't have them in stock yet, but I checked at my little store last night. They still have a lot of them, so I don't think this design is as popular as in previous years. HTH

Thanks for the info, @country gal. I would still like to see one in a store hopefully one of these days. I checked recently, and the store I was in had no Christmas dishes out yet, only Harvest dishes.

My nearest store finally got in the BHG holiday/animals collection of dishes. I was glad to see that they were selling the divided tray by itself for $8.88 because it was the only piece I really wanted to add to the few plates I bought the first year.
Based on what was in my store, the quality may be going downhill on this collection. Every divided tray had smeared red paint along the red trim that lines the top edge. If I see them at another store eventually, I may get a good one. If not, it's no big deal. I kept thinking that, as adorable as it is, once I fill the sections with candy, the cute scenes would be totally hidden and all I'd have is a white dish. I display my plates on stands, but I would want to use the divided tray, I think.

Funny, I actually have a set of Christmas dishes but they are only service for 4 so I usually can't use them as I have more than 4 people. So I was thinking of looking for some plain red dishes I could use with them - maybe every other place setting or something. Anyway, I saw plain red dishes at Walmart - that was what got me to thinking about doing this. Maybe at each place do some plain red and some with the Christmas design? I'm still thinking it over.

@151949 I think this is a great idea! I do it all the time. You could use all the same chargers, napkins or napkin rings to unify the two patterns.

I would definitely do something like you are considering, rather than not ever getting to use what you already have.
