A beautiful day for some retail therapy!

It's sunny and warm (finally) here in NE Mo...supposed to get up to 65. I have decided to go across the river and do some browsing/shopping. Hope to hit ALL my favorite stores..Kohl's, TJMaxx, Hobby Lobby, Joann's and Shopko. Not looking for anything in particular just want to see some Spring things and get out of the house for a change. Hope everyone is having a nice day today!

It's going to be in 60s here but very very windy (50 mph winds!).  I took the opportunity to get my hair cut - got about 2 inches cut off into a blunt bob - I feel like I have so much more hair!  Love your choice of stores - but never heard of Shopko - what kind of store is that?

It's windy here, too, but only 25mph gusts. Not enough to keep me home.

It's a dept. store chain in Mo. and Il. Bigger than a K-mart but smaller than Wal-mart. They have unique things I don't see anywhere else. I get a lot of home decor items there, esp. lanterns.

@country gal  I'm in SE Mo and it's windy and warm here too.  I'm trying to get out and breathe some fresh warmer air for a change.  Enjoy your shopping and hope you find a lot of great bargains.  I love to check out TJMaxx, never know what you'll find there.

I'm farther south, so it's in the low 70s here and gorgeous, not a cloud in the sky.  I've been out most of the day soaking it in and picking up tons of limbs from a storm that came through a few days ago.

Let us know if you find anything nice while shopping.

It's when you are shopping for nothing in particular that you find goodies.  If you are looking for that pink tee shirt, forget it!!

Hope you had fun and got some deals.

Re: A beautiful day for some retail therapy!

Another reporting in from a windy location.

Did the usual Friday errands, and was about blown out of town every time we stepped out of the car. But for February in Ohio, it is simply marvelous!

Will be taking my mom and heading out tomorrow to Homes County and beyond, just to get out for a drive, hit some of our favorite shops and thrift stores, and have a nice lunch.

In this area of Ohio, we have had a pretty mild winter, and I'm not complaining one bit!

I found a nice navy cardigan and  pretty Liz Claiborne purse at J C Penneys on clearance . I LOVE the cardigan, but I am thinking "Do I really need another purse"?....LOL

@Nataliesgramma     When a new one comes in, an old one should go out.  Let someone at a thrift shop take advantage of that!
