Aside from the space, and even given the obvious quality and value of the elements, there is really nothing about this apartment that particularly resonates with me. I usually like Hadley's work and while I can appreciate his efforts here I simply don't find this apartment appealing or desirable.

@Oznell but Nelson was  not "golden".  He died in the arms of his mistress in an apartment he paid for her for over two years.  The family tried to cover it up, but the truth finally came out.

I don't have the pedigree to appreciate the apartment or the style of decorating, I think stiff was the best description.

You are exactly right about that behavior, @tobes --  the farthest from "golden" possible.

What I don't like is the lack of sunshine.  The dining room looks gloomy with no sunlight.  It's more of a museum than a home.
