Re: A FEW RUSTIC* LIVING ROOMS

@happilyretiredgirl ,  thanks for sharing those sweet memories of your Grandmother and her cabinet-- love that!

@We rescue cats ,  thanks, it's my pleasure!  Since I don't have a "pinterest board",  or anything like that, collecting rooms that strike me, and posting here, is a really fun exercise for me... I'm like you-- seeing a variety of looks and ideas, really helps refine and clarify my own likes and dislikes...

Oh, those are gorgeous rich colors, @QVCisFun --  you made some great finds, thanks for posting them!

Those bordeaux walls, playing off the beautiful wool rug, stunning.

True, I love the bordeaux room too, maybe more. I think I missed it somehow (how did I miss it?), but it has that dark and moody look I love......

Could easily turn into my Vampire Chic very easily. haha

That tall white cabinet, my Granny had one like it and the shelf in the middle could slide out further and that is where she made her biscuits, pie crust, cookies and all types of breads.  She would store all types of flour, sugar and baking needs with her rolling pen and baking pans.  Sure brings some happy and delicious memories back to me.😋

My grandmother had one too.  Yes, it store ingredients for all kinds of good stuff.  She called it her flour chest.  It stored lots of ingredients and it was more like a cabinet, but she called it a chest.

Those green sofas are really calling to me. I had recently been looking at a green Chesterfield before you posted this.
