No. 1 is my favorite although I'd have to add a little more color and prints to make it work for me.  I LOVE that glass vase that's on the tray on the ottoman/coffee table.  The rest of them don't do a whole lot for me and #5 is my least favorite.

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, but Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.

We have three fireplaces in this house and I would LOVE to remove them all, but it adds to value if we sell.

I too like the mix of stone and wood. I would remove the rug to have a light on dark contrast and the ottoman to give more space. Maybe add a variety of green pillows on the sofa and chair

Not a fan of fireplaces --will never have another one but have to say, that circle rug speaks to me-- but not a fan of orange wood--had that in my house for 35 years--never again.

I love all of the rooms exceptt for # 2 as well; the color of the wood looks too orange with that bright rug...and it seems a bit too mid-century modern-like for my taste.
