What drives me crazy about home trends in kitchens is that major remodeling is a huge expensive undertaking. You can change wall paint, and maybe even paint old cabinets without much expense, but buying new appliances, cabinets, counters, & floors are major expenses. Renovating simply to keep up with current styles is just not something I want to do & spend my money on. We renovated our kitchen about 13 years ago, & have no plans to replace anything other than appliances that eventually break and can't be repaired.

@ninjawife  I was just going to say the same thing......you beat me to it Smiley Happy.  I think all of them are cold and stark.........except the flooring you mentioned.
