It's by the same Suzanne Tucker who did the relaxed coastal house. I thought it would be fun to show a few pictures of her when she does a slightly more "dressed-up" traditional house, but still comfy.
What I love about this sitting room is the coral color of the inside of the bookcase, and the way she picked that up in the room's fabrics.
Beautiful table, used for games, I think.
But maybe my favorite room in this house, is this kitchen, with its soothing colors and woods:
Pretty, welcoming bedroom...
But for some reason, I somewhat prefer this smaller, simpler one. Love the touch of the quilt-- is that "wedding ring"? Looks like it has a little terrace or balcony too.
They were mentioning that they used skylights to bring light into the house, which I can well imagine, since 1908 houses can be dark. But don't you find it ingenious that this swanky vintage pendant light is attached to the skylight! Now, how did they wire that?
Bonus kitchen below, also in San Francisco. In a penthouse this time. I just wanted to show her work in another mode-- of course, that view doesn't hurt at all, does it!

Beautiful rooms, but not for me, all the wrong colors. Also it just doesn't look like someone collected any of this furniture over a long period of time. Like someone won the lottery and went out and bought all this.

I get so excited when I see a post of an interior that @Oznell liked enough to share. This does not disappoint. Just lovely.

Love just about everything in this house. Playing cards, Bingo, or board games on that table is perfect.

Beautiful home, but some I wouldn't do.
In the large living room (great room here?), I don't like the feel of the 1950's or the table and chairs so close to the conversation area. Too crowded.
Her colors had a nice flow. The elements aren't my era.
Never would I ever put anything in front of a fireplace. A fireplace is such a big design element and major focal point, why???
Everything is well put together and flows, it brings back an era to me that I didn't like being in and disliked visually.
I VERY much loved the bonus kitchen and would take it any day!!!!!![]()

My favorite room is the kitchen too.
Love the lighter wood cabinets and the sea glass island.

What a beautiful house! There are a few changes I would make but for the most part it is warm, comfortable looking and appealing. I also love the kitchen cabinets, they are lovely and a perfect color. The bedrooms are both nicely decorated. I like this home.
