What really disappointed me was Valerie Parr Hill's Christmas wreaths.  I buy one every year.  This year she has a church (which is not suitable for me) and a cutsey one with a truck!  Awful!!!  Last year she had the elegant cardinals which was so beautiful (I did save the cardinal ornaments to use this year).   Oh well, I guess more money in my pocket but I was so looking forward to see what new wreaths she would bring.

Me too - so far no purchases!   Last year I bought a lot this first day and then found better items on the full weekend of CIJ.  Just finishing off paying a lot of easy pays and feeling good!!

Pretty bad QVC powers that be couldn't give its customers a real TSV ....not overstock stuff from warehouse! 

I bought several sets from clearance & as is.

HSN is getting  my $$$ today updating my cookware with Curtis Stone pieces.  Great prices, flex pay & free shipping!!!!

@lovesallanimals ~ You might want to check out lynchcreekwreaths.com ~ gorgeous, full, fresh wreaths (many priced less than what Valerie is offering).  I ordered two with wooden bird plaques last year as well as two heart-shaped wreaths that lasted until well after Valentine's Day.  The wreaths I ordered had beautiful ornaments and sprigs on them that I saved they were so nice.  Shipping is free, too (it was last year anyway).  I'm definitely ordering from them again this year.  I was very pleased!

I did buy the vintage Christmas truck by Candle Impressions and the Hampton popcorn, and will probably buy the Poopouri.  Usually my credit card is on fire by now.

I was tempted by the same items @onliner.  The popcorn sounded delicious.  Valerie's black sleigh is also calling my name but I don't need it and it will come in a huge box that I will have to get rid of so I am restraining myself!

First for me too ,  I am usually glued to tne tv watching ,  not this year.  Only thing I bought was the new lantern of Valerie's.  Hope to see it presented tonight.  Nothing else is new or exciting .  I am sure by August there will be tons I will have to have .  Fir now though saving $$$$.

@Kitty Galore, I ordered the Lantern in black last night.  I had a hard time deciding but felt the black would go better with my black Heritage lanterns.  I think the black offers more of a silhouette appeal, too.  I might still change my mind & get the red when I see it presented!
