@stevieb I totally agree. I will not be watching the Christmas shows because I have tried to watch Jill but just can't deal with her attitude. So, if they would give us some different hosts for the holiday shows I would watch and no doubt buy but I'm shopping locally this year. QVC should listen to it's customers and try to find a middle ground so there's shows for everyone at some point.
To both of you......Very well put ! I totally agree.

It's the 2nd show where I noticed those shoes, so I looked on her FB page. She's been having back issues she said. I hope they give her relief.
As far as the Christmas shows, it was all I could do to watch the fall/holiday show last night. I too am so tired of Me, Me, Me for every other product. I thought she'd jump right out of those shoes when she talked about all the Christmas tree designers using her tree skirt for their presentations. I thought that "Mine!, Mine!, Mine!" was bizarre.

Great answer, @stevieb!

They may be great sneakers but gee why another shoe brand selling sneakers---QVC has become a one trick pony....Although Puma quality is probably better than Sketchers which for me had no support at all and hurt my feet after a short while!!
I know Jill had knee surgery and if she is having back problems now she definitely needs shoes with good support!

Me too LUCYMO...Forget about the shoes, I'm wondering why she doesn't wear a Sunbeam heating pad that QVC sells because she must be hurting for patting herself on the back so much......One can only take it for so long ---and personally when I grit my teeth and have watched nothing has really struck my fancy....At least when I watch Valerie the show may be repeats of the same merchandise, but I love her humble enthusiasm and good decorating ideas.....Valerie makes it all about the fun of decorating but doesn't put herself in the spotlight!
QVC needs a shot in the arm in their decorating shows/style--- Lisa's shows presented a different style and viewers would just tune in just to see the beautiful sets (done by Valerie and her team in a completely different way).....This is what QVC needs....Lisa's not here but why not someone else that loves that style... I know I'm preaching to the choir here... ![]()

@Alsee I could not agree more with your statement regarding her shoes being irrelevant, and it is not our place to judge her performance as a host based on her shoes and why she chose to wear them. I have seen women in the Chicago Loop (main downtown area if you are not familiar) with the most horrid looking feet beause of their need/desire to be fashionable at all costs. There is nothing attractive or fashionable about seeing a sharply dressed woman that is wearing a pair of high heels that expose mis-shappen gnarled toes from too many years of wearing poorly fitting shoes that are stunning, but are killing her feet. Sorry, I don't want or need to see that, especially during lunch hour. I am 47 and I decdied a long time ago that I don't have to suffer in pain in order to be fashionable
If a shoe rubs, pokes, causes me to feel like I am teetering on too tiny of a pencil heel, or makes me slip and slide on the store floor (too slick of a sole) just getting to the mirror - they stay at the store. I am not sure which Jill this thread is referrig to since I a having a hard time keeping up with all of the new hosts (a number of which i do not like).
I do miss Lisa and her sense of style and, I really feel the GiLI line has been off the mark since she left. The line is well overpriced for what it is and the quality is not there. I was a frequent GILI bag buyer and still would be but, I miss the quality of leather previously used in the GILI line of handbags when Lisa was handling the line. I don't think that Jill has added to the line and I often see their items show up as lunch time specials (same item) over and over again because they cannot get rid of them.
I adore Alberti, the two younger ladies, especially Courney that are on most very early am shows. I really like Shawn since she has toned down. Pat Dimitri and Jane make a great team as well and who cannot help but like Jane (shoe shopping with Jane) and Kiersten Linquest and Amy Strand. I know I am missing a few other good ones. I am not a fan of the short redhead, the short woman in her 60's that does crossover from home and cooking shows to do fashion, and there is another blonde that is tall and think with long hair that insulted a designer recently. Then my least favorite is the blonde male with the high and mighty attitude that is downright rude to people (customers that are live on air and guests). My personal opinions. We all have our favorites and the ones that we prefer not to watch. Sorry ladies, but this topic just got me to spew all of that since I was thinking about likes and dislikes and a hosts shoes are not on my list of reasons to not like one of them. Rudeness to designers, manufacterers representatives, slick nasty comments about other hosts the are filling in for, cutting off a customer during testimonial (and I meea short and sweet - not ten minutes long like my rant
) and narcicissm are reasons for me to dislike a host. At the end of the day, if I don't like who is on air, I don't watch or I mute them if I really wanted to see the products in that particular show. I can also always look online which often tiems is better since you can read reviews before placing that order only to cancel it later.

@Spurt You and I are on the same page. I'm not at all interested in the Christmas shows now that I know that it's going to be same as last year.

Yep I think we are in consensus
Looking at Valerie's FB album mostly the same merchandise ...and nothing I want. I'm going to be like you and look around locally--I don't really need anything else.....but if something unique catches my eye I just might make another purchase..
....I need to go back to Hobby Lobby and Pier 1. Of course I promised myself that I would donate something if I make another purchase to maintain rather than grow my Christmas collection....

@Spurt Yep, I hear you telling yourself you will bring in and then take out but myself isn't too sure about those promises anymore.
I'm going to HL tomorrow and hope I can convince myself that I will only buy what I need to make my Christmas wreathes. I know my DD will roll her eyes when I tell her that, and then check out ten jumbo bags of stuff that I had to have. lol
