I stick to what I like for holiday decorating.  I don't go in for fads.  I have things I have had for years.  Classic is better for me.  Red trucks have no appeal.  I do have some snowmen that I have used and some Santas.  Part of the fun is to bring things out from years ago and remember past Christmases.

Re: When there is a holiday decor 'fad'...

I've always been a march to my own beat kind of decorator.  I was into the snowy White Christmas wonderland but with a lodge twist  long before it became popular.  Now I am sick of the Joanna Gaines Fixer Upper Farmhouse look that has bled over into holiday decor.  Don't get me wrong, I loved Fixer Upper but it has been done to death.  Every Pinterest popup is the same, white farmhouse with the heavily flocked King of Christmas tree trimmed in the plaid.

I feel the same way about the red trucks...nope!
