Re: What Size For Tabletop Christmas Tree

We had a 7' tree for many years.   We have now downsized to a 5' and place it on a small table that is about 2'!   We still have a 7' look without having to decorate as much.

We just like looking up at our tree at least for a few more years!!Woman Wink

Re: What Size For Tabletop Christmas Tree

I’d get 4’ and put it by itself on a table. We traveled for Christmas for years and took a 2ft tree with mini ornaments. The idea is to have a tree so get what you like! Enjoy

@NickNack   I would choose the four foot because it gives you room to really decorate.

Let us know what you decide. Smiley Happy

The one below is five feet that I used last year in my home.....thinking about doing it again this year.

@Regal Bee  I love your little tree!
I ordered Valerie's 3' glistening tree this year on sale because I like my 7' in the living room. It's slightly frosted with pine cones.
I put the smaller one in my den with just hanging rhinestone and metal snowflakes on white velvet ribbon.
and only Angel wings on top and three small white glass Jack Russell ornaments I had due to dog portraits near the tree. I used a small fur type white tree skirt.

Today I went to a nearby consignment store. They had the Beyers figures arranged in 5 different rooms. I think they were from a local store because they don't have a price monthly reduction. Small we're $38 and large $48.

There were Carolers, skaters, venders, all kinds. I was good and didn't buy any!

If you have a yard stick, put it in a container and step back to see if the 3 ft. is the size you want.

I hope we get to see a picture!  Looking forward to it!Smiley Happy

@ECBG   I've done that, and 3 ft. is definitely the best size to go on a tabletop.  If I keep the 4 ft. tree I think it will need to be on the floor.  The 4 ft. tree is supposed to get here tomorrow, and the 3 ft. tree is coming on Saturday.

I'm going to wait until Saturday and check the 3 ft tree first to see if I like it.  I was hesitant because it's a Colorado Spruce, and I really prefer Fir trees for Christmas.  I will see.

If neither tree is right I will shop locally.

This is the holiday decorating part that isn't fun (like getting a big tree straight) but the enjoyment is a wonderful pay off for several weeks when we look back and say "YES!!!".Smiley Happy

@ECBG  Thank you. I think the white Santa came from Home Goods several years ago. I collect Santas and can't keep up with where I purchase all of them. Smiley Happy

Re: What Size For Tabletop Christmas Tree

Last year I decided to stop having a bigger tree with ornaments and purchased a 4 foot fiberoptic tree for my living room window. It sits on top of my small round table. I also purchased a 2 foot pre-lit tree with ornaments that sits on top of my electric fireplace. Since it's just me and I live in an apartment with not a lot of space for decorating, which is fine by me, downsizing was the way to go and it takes less time to put up everything. I prefer the 4 foot trees for a tabletop.

Re: What Size For Tabletop Christmas Tree

I haven't used a standard tree in years.  I have several Christmas trees in my home (traditional evergreen style and the bare branch type).  All of them are tabletop style and I usually stick with 3 feet.
