Maybe ideal gift to give, but at our house not to receive.  We have been given stacks of them in the last few years.  Most are not ones we like or would use.

I didn't know they still other gift items now.  Woman Wink  But as of last year, we are finally out of the gifting business.  Life goes on.

I have TWO of these storage benches (red alligator finish).   Extra seating, too!

I happen to really like mummies.  They are interesting cultural artifacts that tell the tale of ancient civilizations like the Egyptians and the Chinchorros of Peru.  They would never make me sick, unless I tried to eat a little piece of them, like the Victorians did, because they thought they were powerful medicine.

I also LOVE Dennis Basso blanket throws.  They are soft, warm, lovely, and perfect for home decor and snuggling. They are just about the nicest throws I have ever discovered, and they also wash well with a bit of care. I have a great collection, but I will always want more.

I have bought DB throws for many family members, and because they are so high quality, I also receive positive feedback.

I would certainly wrap myself up in a Dennis Basso throw for a salary, but I will even do it for free!  Right now I have one on my lap--the cat loves it as much as I do!

@Desertdi.  Wow, that's a pretty throw.  I can understand wearing it.  My colors.

If anyone gives me another throw I will scream!!!! (in private because I'm not rude).  Berkshire and sherpa are the first to be donated, just don't like them.  I have my Eddie Bauer down ones for winter at the bottom of every bed and for me on the couch a Barefoot Dreams. I do have two lighter ones for spring and summer. Out the door the others go.

I have one from several years ago.  I think it's a Dennis Basso.  It looks just like the Cream Broadtail in today's selection.  Most beautiful quild I've ever owned.  After a few years of having it (still in good condition), I folded it in half for our Golden Retriever to sleep on the bedroom floor.  She seems quite pleased with it.  (Although a GR is very easily pleased.)  {*_*}

I have enough throws, mostly gifts so I don't give them as gifts because people tend to collect them over time, either a gifts, purchases or hand made.  I took a bunch to the animal shelter though.
