Did you have to remind us? I hate the holiday season (Christmas and thanksgiving). I'm always so happy when a January arrives. I dread it.....the horrible Christmas music, the decorations, endless advertising, Christmas trees, etc. gag!

I love this time of year and yes it goes by in a blink.  I am always super excited for Christmas in June/July. I play christmas music year round.  

My shopping for the most part is done, everything bought is wrapped.  Most of my cards are addressed.  

I can't wait to get my tree up but I need someone else to do that for me.  

My daughter is coming by this week after work, I think I will ask her to put it up for me.

I LOVE the season, decorations, trees, music.  Our gift giving is way down, so no stress there.  A few gifts for family/friends.  Usually cash, gift certificates and small food or coffee/tea gifts.  

Haha, I wrote my cards a month ago, just need to add a few notes.  I think I love it because of little stress, and I really enjoy the time with family and friends.  Even more now, as I retired last year.  No small children left to buy for.  

It does go fast, so will really enjoy November and December.  I usually get my tree up Thanksgiving weekend, but may do it the week before this year.  I enjoy quiet evenings with my lights/tree.  

@Miss Pepsi  I know you love and always enjoy the holiday.  Nice to see you posting.
