Re: Mackenzie-Childs Pattern Name Change

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the "new to QVC" Wild Rose Black (and White) are not new, in fact I saw the Wild Rose-Black flower on a discontinued pattern website.

I like Wild Rose-Black as it appears dark brown (which I desired for my kitchen at one time) but went with Emerald Check for more pizazz.

The Wild Rose White (which really has a Mocha tint) was available in some products last year.  The roll-out with the Mocha Tartan wasn't very impressive and didn't see to have that usual Mackenzie-Childs "snap".

There have been years I've never looked at the M-C website and now it's pretty much only for the Fall, Halloween, and Christmas new items.   I could easily have missed a previous issue of Wild Rose Brown.

I did order the vase in Wild Rose Brown for Halloween.

I was really hoping they would have the Cherry Check available in enamelware items for a red and white Christmas theme, but so far Ive only seen Emerald Check, and for some reason I associate this with golf courses.

I have no idea why.

Emerald check would look great with a golf theme.

The Courtly Check reminded me of Freddie Mercury's leotard, could never get that out of my head, so chose a different check to go with my Rosy Check.

Yes @MercyMe7 you are right about courtly, reminds me of those old NYC apt. with those Harlequin floor patterns!  I love my White Flower Market large canister, it coordinates perfectly with my Emerald Check chargers and serving platter.  I like that fresh organic look which these two patterns provides.

I prefer hand-painted checks over the decal applied, that is what makes it special, but I needed a pattern too so went with flower market.   The black is too stark and would not go with my country cottage kitchen that I just remodeled.
