@Katcat1  Yes, or tins, I wouldn't give a ceramic platter away.Smiley Happy  I used to buy Christmas tins for practically nothing the day after Christmas at Woolworth, but those stores are long gone from here, and load them with cookies as gifts.  I also used to buy Christmas tins of popcorn, the large tins, about 1 1/2' tall, ditch the popcorn, and load them with cookies, candies, and Italian fruit cakes, and would tell the recipients that if they couldn't finish the cakes, to put them out for the birds as they were made with dried fruit and nuts, and no booze.
