@mousiegirl,   That is really cute.  I don't bake many cookies anymore because they are too tempting.  I use to bake cookies and give as gifts.  A few years ago, I baked cookies and fudge and took a large platter to the  beauty salon I go to for everyone.

@Katcat1  I used to do the same, bake and deliver or mail, an enormous amount.  I also stopped baking except for three or four types at Christmas, but discovered that they freeze so well, that I plan on baking a lot this year, sending some with DD, and freezing the rest, but I agree, they are tempting,.  The key is discipline, what's that, lol.

Re: MY NEW CHRISTMAS COOKIE TRAY/PLATTER

Very cute !!!!!

I am always in the market for platters---- I got to parties, bring brownies and cookies and somehow the platter stays !!!!  My sister-in-law is really good about that--- she texts the next day to remind me I left it and keeps it safe until we see each other again.  The brownie platter from June (kids grad party) will be returning to me for Thanksgiving.

I think I leave a trail of platters, casserole dishes thru out my family......good excuse to buy more !!!!!!

I normally use plastic for giving cookie gifts unless it is someone special.  Again, your platter is vey nice.
