Thank you!
I purchased two ornaments of this type on ETSY for gifts!
It is amazing to me that there are artists who can fashion these things!
It is time I stopped because it is just toooo tempting out there!

While scouring the internet for copper decor inspiration, came across some websites that had tons of ideas and photos:

Thought of copper scouring pads too:

Wow those are fabulous photos @Oznell I do like copper. I have some copper candle sticks that a friend made for me. She used to sell them on Etsy. I also like silver and I will mix and match.
I saw an article in BHG that showed how to make decorations out of pinecones and I thought that was fun. Years ago when I did more crafting I took some class in the evening & made a pine cone wreath which I still have. It's a bit ragged after many years of use but still fun to have.
Last year I bought some of Martha Stewart's silver & gold wreaths & garland and I'm using those in my windows this year.

@ninjawife we always had an eclectic blend of ornaments too. When I put a tree up, I did the same. Since we had 2 dogs at the time, I quickly learned to put the "non breakable" ornaments at the bottom where wagging tails that sometimes resulted in ornaments winging their way across the room couldn't be damaged.
the glass ones went above doggie level!
I don't put up a big tree since one cat likes to chew on it and I have a new kitten so no need to tempt anyone! I have a couple of smaller trees that fit in the china cabinet and I decorate ithem n various themes
