@Snicks1 Funny you posted this. I just brought in my baskets to do a similar design. My baskets are very old and not as bright in color as this one but they have a lot of stories to tell.
Not exactly sure what all I will put in the baskets but I did Christmas with them last year. They are a bit more rustic than I usually use but still like them.

@lucymo, be sure to post pics when you get them all done. I'm sure they will look fantastic.
I do love Fall decor, I just don't do it myself anymore. I saave all my energy for Christmas, I guess, lol.

@Snicks1 I will do that. Right now the baskets are just setting in the kitchen floor waiting for me to go dig out 'stuff' to make them look prettier. At Christmas I put lit Spheres, pinecones and evergreen branches in them with the mini lights mixed in the greens.

It looks nice and not too many ingredients. I get in trouble when I have to buy too many things to make something work.

I saw this on Pinterest too. Really pretty. I check Pinterest out all the time. Great ideas.

This is the kind of thing I think many of us are interested in. Using something we already have (a basket, and most likely some filler like garlands and fake pumpkins), and use it across many seasons (pine and pine cones, and some lit somethings in the winter).
If you are really into space saving, use all 'live' things from the yard or farmer's market, and simply throw away everything at the end of the season, and reuse the basket for winter themed decor.
Saves money, saves storage space, can be reworked each year to look different and not like you put out the same thing every year.

@GCR18 I'll bet you already have enough stuff to do the basket. If I'm running short on greens or fall foliage I fill the bottom part of basket with old towels or anything else and finish filling with greens or fall foliage and whatever else you're decorating it with. The towels give a good surface for your decor to rest on too, more solid. I'm just cheap. LOL
