@lucymo My acorns shipped also, but my cute little owl pumpkins are on backorder, strange, because I ordered them while they were being presented, so I won't receive them because they were on clearance, I believe.

Same here. The 3 candle rings and pumpkin carriage are marked shipped. I ordered a second set of the same candle rings last night and they are still processing.
I agree that this doesn't necessarily mean we'll get our stuff any sooner because it could still sit at the warehouse for a few days waiting for them to fill up a truck heading to our specific state or region. That info comes from a really helpful CS rep I spoke with a few years ago. It makes perfect sense, and I believe what she told me.
Re the quick "shipped" status to prevent multitudes of cancellations--Highly likely IMO. Just look at all of the Homeworx Slatkin items, which are all on advance order for mid-September, and how they continue to fluctuate in and out, but mostly in stock again.
When given days (or weeks or months) to think about their purchases, it's natural that some will change their minds and cancel for a variety of reasons.
