I start after Labor Day. I use red, white and blue from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I slowly bring in my fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving things after Labor Day.

@KailaS, I'm so sorry about your troubles, hope your decorating continues to give you much-needed distraction and joy.
Around the beginning of September, I bring out a cream colored pumpkin, and a white ceramic one-- the theory being, ivory pumpkins are "almost" summery, or sort of "pre-fall", or some kind of rationalization like that... then I build on that...

I always start the Saturday before Labor Day—I love all my pumpkins and the warm harvest tones! The decorations will stay up until the Saturday before Thanksgiving, when I convert to my Christmas decor. Others always clamor to host Thanksgiving, but I host an "Elf Friday" party at my home the day after where we officially kick off the Christmas season.

I'm not sure when I'll get motivated -- but if you post some of your beautiful fall pics I might get motivated sooner...hint hint🙂🙂
Of course, all the others who post great ideas & pics ...🍂🍁🎃👻

I decorate when I get in the spirit of the season. I think it will be sooner rather than later. Fall is my favorite season, so I don't want to miss one day of it.

@Regal Bee In a few weeks so it will be out for three months, until the day after Thanksgiving, then on to Christmas decor.

This year I will decorate for Fall starting on September 15.
I just went through my Autumn decor and tossed out three decorative pumpkins that had seen better days. Two exterior, one interior.
I went to At Home and purchased three new items.
By sticking to the one in/one out method, it keeps me from accumulating too much seasonal decor.
