Everything seems a bit upside down for me this year but I am starting to think about when I will decorate for Fall.

I will start later than usual.....maybe mid September. When will you start?

@Regal Bee I just started thinking about it today. I'll probably start after Labor Day. My Summer decor isn't elaborate, so I'd like to get into pumpkins and leaves! Don't forget to post your lovely pictures!

I usually wait until the first day of fall which is Sept 22.  This year I think Labor Day is a good time.  I need something fun to do

I am hoping to start this weekend. It has been so long since I have put up my fall tree. I am doing it this year. The fall candles have already been burning. I don’t care that it is hot out. Inside my house it will be fall. I will wait until later to decorate the porch.

I just discussed this with a friend yesterday. Usually I am so excited about decorating for fall but now I'm really trying to get motivated to do it. Hopefully I'll have it done by the end of the month.

I have already started. (Don't judge too harshly. LOL) The summer has been awful with a seriously ill family member, a 93 year old mother with dementia, and a cat who seems to be dying. I decided about a week ago that whenever I had time, especially during those times when I could not sleep, I would add a bit of joy to my home/life and begin decorating. Everything already had been cleaned, so I added linens and then pulled out actual decor. Two rooms downstairs are almost done. My outside wreath, garden flags, etc. are still summer- based. (I did not want my neighbors to think I was crazy.)

I was just thinking about decorating for Fall, and decided I would do that when I’m ready to put away my Christmas in July purchases. Lol

I will probably start the end of this month.  I have to put away summer decorations first and I'll take my time.  I do look forward to fall decorating as it is my most favorite time of year,  I can't wait to say good riddance to this horrible hot and humid weather which exhausts me.  My motivation comes in the cooler weather and while fall is still warm I know it will lead to cooler days.
