@SHOPR @lucymo I didn't know there were jewel picks until I used the item number you posted SHOPR, then I recognized them, so many looking so similar I was confused when I was talking to @lucymo, and it turns out she has the jewel, and you know what I have, lol.
I am trying a new display for Christmas. I bought some multi colored lit sprays for the two large red mercury glass hurricanes, and when I saw the picks, thought they would be perfect for filler around the sprays, with the candle rings on the rim. I decided against some during CIJ, before I had this new idea, too bad for me, lol, but these look nice as I already have tried it all together, then put it away.
@mousiegirl Sounds pretty. I'll have to see the pictures to fully appreciate what they will look like. I didn't get that set because I was afraid of the glitter. But, I did get the Holly picks and the glitter doesn't seem to shed bad at all.
@lucymo Yes, they drop glitter upon opening so I did it over the kitchen grbage can, but still, my kitchen indoor/outdoor rug is sparkly, lol.

@mousiegirlI used to love glitter but lately I shy away from a lot of glittered items because I don't want it everywhere. I still like the glitter on pieces just not everywhere.
You are up and about early today. I saw you were on here earlier and remembered that you are two hours difference in time. I'm still dragging around, can't get going and it's 9:30 already.

@lucymo This glitter is the finest I have encountered so not as easy to clean up. I received Valerie's crystal spiral tree yesterday, and it is very pretty, don't know where I will put it yet though, and my second large red mercury glass hurricane, so another shipment this coming week, and that will be it until Valerie returns, lol.
I wake up frequently during the night, and this morning when I woke up at between 6-6:30, I decided to get up and water the garden before the dreaded sun comes out. It was over 106 degrees here yesterday, but dry heat is bearable, and supposed to be 100 today, though it is a bit cool this morning, and when I felt the water coming out of the hose, it was still warm from yesterday.

@lucymo I just discovered that I did order the picks you have, couldn't believe it, don't remember ordering, lol, so I am glad to know this as I was regretting not having ordered, hope I like them. ![]()

@mousiegirl lol. Girl, you're going to have to check your order status more often.
I think you'll like them. Not too much loose glitter or bling, but enough. Like I said in the review, the faceting is more reflective than I imagined so I won't worry about which side of the teardrop is showing.

@lucymo I was looking for a tracking number as I received a UPS delivery notice for tomorrow, and it is the picks, lol. I just read a review of someone who only received three picks and didn't like them, but is keeping them because she said it is too difficult to reach customer service and to return something, this is nuts! So many do not realize that a defective item or incorrect amount in the order is returnable with no return cost.

@mousiegirl I know , I wonder how these people get by in the real world. People ask the size of an item when it's plainly stated in the description, they don't read. I started a thread several years ago I guess, about why people don't read descriptions about the products. Then someone answered me and said, 'not everyone has a computer'. I said, 'this one does because they just posted the question', think about it. If they don't want to call CS they can email them right here on the website, I do that a lot and get answers soon.
I read reviews and people keep defective stuff because it's too expensive to return. What? Do they not check out any details about returns before they order from a company. It's ridiculous but maybe everyone doesn't order as much as some of us. lol. If we kept all the defective stuff we get we'd really be overloaded with 'stuff'. ![]()
