@stevieb @gramygram So there's the Roma 3 OTO. Missed it. Three colors left for those who wanted one!
So that's where they disappeared to... My money's on whatever didn't sell being shipped over to Zulily. By the way, @Serendipity, you can still order it at the OTO price. I just looked. I don't want the bag, though.
@stevieb I had my ESP that it would be a OTO!
I ordered this Roma 3 in blue, white and black; the price was really good (finally). I hope they are in decent shape...this long after their debut, you never know...
@EdithEllenLily, what was the item number? Congrats on the deal
Thank you and welcome back @Sister Golden Hair! A265121
@EdithEllenLily, I wanted to take a look to see what you bought
It is nice to be home but I sure had a fun fun time with my SIL
We were talking about how nice it would be to live closer but it is best that we don't because we both like to shop
I wish I could help everyone get ready for Christmas
I love to wrap presents
I could address Christmas cards.
I'm just a "Jill of all Trades"
You are so sweet @Sister Golden Hair! I wish you could help me, too! Okay, I've set up the card-writing project on our dining room table. Crane's cards, holiday address labels, holiday stamps, the updated address list, good pens and our annual holiday letter which I just copied this afternoon! So I guess we'll eat in the kitchen tonight at the little table from my apartment days!
@EdithEllenLily, you sound very organized.
I don't even have a table right now, everything is in storage
Yes, organized...but LATE @Sister Golden Hair!
We've thought about some remodeling, but the thought of it freaks me out so much due to all of the mess. I would think everything would need to be boxed up and moved out...sounds like that's what you did? You don't want to get your items dusty, dirty, marked up...plus you need the space for the workers to do their remodeling. Sigh. I told Mr. Lily that if we think we need to remodel we probably just have to move. I would have to box up my handbags for sure!
Oh my EEL @EdithEllenLily be careful what you ask for. I moved a few years back and the experience will go down as one of the biggest nightmares of my adult life... If the remodeling isn't major, there's not any contest as to the level of disription, cleaning and work between remodeling and moving, not even mentioning preparing the new place to move into and the old place to move out of and sell... On the other hand, I have friends who've bought houses only to essentially gut them, which always makes me wonder why they bought them in the first place and didn't simply find a house they actually liked... Different strokes, I guess.
Hmmm, advice well taken @stevieb!!! Your last move sounded like a huge deal. You are right, when you think about all of the details about moving, selling, buying, etc., it IS quite an undertaking.
For many people the location is tops. Ours is stellar, so if we're in a bit of a shabby chic house, the fixtures and decor do match the older home in a location that's walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the train to downtown Chicago. It's real brick and the gorgeous yellow Chicago brick at that. Maybe your friends wanted the location and the look of the outside of their home, so they were willing to do all of the remodeling to make it work...
