I have a Dooney & Bourke bag, A369626, on waitlist in the color Light Taupe. At the time, all available colors were offered on waitlist. I check all the time. Sometimes I see one color that is now in stock, but only briefly. Today, when I checked, both Light Taupe and Black were in stock.

How are waitlist orders filled? I would think QVC would fill waitlist orders first before offering the bag to new shoppers.

Is it better for me to order the bag now that it is in stock and cancel the waitlist?

Are the ones that appear and disappear ones that are returned and possibly defective?

@susanj   You should post your inquiry to the MODs in the Customer Care forum area.

It depends.  They may be.  But if something sells out and then immediately reappears as "in stock" (say, the next day after the presentation), it could be because some people have changed their minds and cancelled their orders.  Or other times people's checks won't go through and those orders are cancelled also.
