Re: Oh no, Jane!

[ Edited ]

Sue Clifton always says they are made to take any kind of treatment and weather.  How many times have I heard her say she throws hers in the car.

Do people really have that much concern about an inanimate object?  I would have more feelings toward the poor animals used to produce the bag.

Lisa Robertson was the first to haul a handbag to the side of the stage.  Regardless if someone is standing there to catch it, regardless if the handbag is made to withstand all kinds of roughness,  throwing it anywhere is one of the MOST unprofessional things I've seen!

If the hosts are not handling the merchandise with respect, why should the customer think there is much value to the item?  Yes, it's just a handbag BUT this company wants us to believe that the item is well worth the high price, and the unprofessional handling gives the opposite impression to the audience.

I've heard her say this too but don't think she hauls it from 20 feet!  Woman LOL

In the car doesn't mean on the floor. Besides, it's her own bag, so she can do whatever she wants with it.

TK, it's been discussed ad nauseum over the years and I continue to think it warrants a big 'who cares'...

I get it that it really bugs some people.  I guess I'm just not one of them.

I  enjoy watching Jane but I think without Sue Clifton, things got out of hand!  Jane, be yourself...do not throw purses just because someone else did and everyone liked it.

JMO, I don't' think everyone liked having purses thrown. At best, some stated they didn't care, it didn't bother them.

Many more thought it looked crass & tasteless.
