@StraytoStay   Mine is named Alana.

Oh, I have this print in the Alvar. I'm saving it for fall, but could use in now, too. Love it!

@StraytoStay- I have this print in the Alvar also.  I really like the print.  I'm looking forward to using it.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

When Kipling was on Qvc last time, they didn't air the Reth bag so I searched online to get an idea of the size. QVCUK had it and they have better prints there! There was a pretty brown and ivory paisley I'd love to be able to buy. I have mostly solids, but now am only going to get prints as they go with more. Amazon has a seller that seems to get the coolest prints from overseas. I wish Kipling USA expanded to share the good stuff with the rest of us. I did buy the Reth in the Sparkly Gold and it's not glittery at all as some foggies whined about Kipling TSV day.

A couple hours ago I got my black one from Amazon Prime day and it's monkey is Davina. @goldensrbest you didn't say what yours looked like & started the thread. If you want another for $44 Amazon still has the True Blue (navy) for that price in the Alvar style.

Ok, I know no one likes a smart-asp, but they are not monkeys, they are gorillas (which are apes.)

Sorry, I get sensitive about animal stuff, and there's a big difference.

Bird, I love the shape of that bag; do you know what the style is called?

@faeriemoon

Actually I was told they were apes.  If you get a bag with the metal charm, that animal has a tail and is a monkey.  As far as the furry ones go, I still call mine a monkey even though I know it is not.  The word monkey sounds more playful than gorilla or ape to me.

The style of the bag I bought is called Folami.

Thanks @Bird mama!

I didn't know they had bags with metal charms on them!!  Are they in the regular line?

@faeriemoon

Actually, the Folami that I ordered came with a silvertone metal monkey charm.  I bought the furry monkey as an add on.

See the monkey charm on this one?

Thank you again, @Bird mama  I really like that bag; I'm a satchel girl.  I like the metal charm better than the fuzzy one too. Smiley Happy
